The moon shines through grimy-looking clouds

Moon through clouds at dusk

Cropped, curves adjustment to increase contrast in dark midtones.

This was taken from my back garden at half-past six one February evening. The moon looked quite amazing as it shone through the clouds of the late dusk, reminiscent of the Eye of Sauron!

I tried a few shutter speeds, but like a fool I set the focal length to 300mm for all but this one, and none of those shots had enough clouds in them. That's why the moon is so overexposed in this quarter second exposure.
