Had a stroll round Connaught Water and up to Grimston's Oak in Epping Forest one afternoon. It was a dull, overcast afternoon (after what had been a beautiful sunny morning) and this may help explain why most of the pictures I took were not up to much. However, this one of the bark of an oak has a pleasing texture. I somehow managed to set the ISO to 800 and unnecesarilly had -0.3EV exposure compensation, but the wonders of Photoshop got back some of the contrast.
